Once upon a time, an Engene Girl kissed a Frog
and convinced herself he’d become a Prince.
He didn’t.
He never even tried.
Eventually he broke her heart
and left her crying alone in her room.
That should’ve been the end.
But she blinked and then all of the sudden seven real Princes walked in
and then, in one breath, the whole world began to spin.
🔥 1. The Purge Ritual
They looked around her room like investigators while she was still frozen in disbelief.
Sunghoon:
“Why is his stuff still here?”
Jake, already grabbing a lighter:
“Burn it.
Burn all of it.”
So they did.
His hoodie → gone.
His notes → ashes.
His keychain → evaporated.
His energy → exorcised.
The air finally felt clean.

Jungwon reached under a pillow

They sat the frog on a chair

Then they turned his flaws into a game.
Lazy → Ni-ki flopping on the floor.
Jealous → Jake hugging a pillow aggressively.
Ghosting → Jay dramatically disappearing behind a curtain.
Selective hearing → Sunoo miming “Huh? What?”
Wrong priorities → Sunghoon pointing everywhere except the right place.
She laughed so loud
it cracked something open inside her in a good way.

She faced the frog.

They walked to the bridge at night
city lights glowing,
air cold and honest.
The frog sat in a glass bowl,
looking as irrelevant as he always was.
Sunghoon:
“It’s time.”
Jungwon saluted seriously.
They tipped the bowl.
plunk.
Back to the water.
Back to where he belonged.
Back to insignificance.
They turned away,
walked off together with pink bunny plush safe under Jungwon’s arm.
